Sales Executive

Job Description

Mr Rent A Car is seeking an exceptional talent to take on the exciting role of Outside Sales Executive. You'll develop and maintain an effective marketing plan which details the steps to take in order to improve the success of all the branches.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct face-to-face sales calls in order to obtain new business
  • Attend/host outside sales meetings or events to promote the company and branch locations
  • build solid relationships with new vendors and also with maintain relationships to our business partners.
  • Continue to increase the market penetration of the branches and increase revenue
  • report to the owner and also be responsible for aiding the Branch Managers and other departments in all aspects of local locations operations.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service, management, and sales experience required.
  • Experience in car rental, hospitality, or tourism preferred
  • Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles (automatic)

Administrative Assistant

Job Description

Mr Rent A Car, Richmond Location is currently looking for a full-time Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant. This role will share in the responsibilities of accounts payable and receivable and it will provide the opportunity to develop accounts payable skills, increase a candidate's knowledge of other departments as well as their knowledge of accounting processes, and be a part of a successful winning team. Our ideal candidate is a quick learner, well-experienced in policy and procedure, and has a natural ability to exceed all expectations!

Responsibilities:

Process payable invoices

Research requests for payments and process payment as needed

Handle calls related to billing status

Process intercompany payables/receivables

Process high volumes of payments through AR system and apply the attention to detail necessary to post payments to the correct documents and accounts

Answer branch inquiries

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Detail oriented and strong follow-through skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Ability to follow detailed processes and procedures

Ability to plan use of time in order to meet deadlines

Ability to work independently or as a team

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for greeting customers
  • Processing vehicle rentals and selling optional services
  • Answering and receiving telephone calls
  • Resolving overdue rentals
  • Responding to customer questions and complaints
  • Responsible for daily operation of car rental activities
  • Complete clerical functions and other tasks as assigned
  • Servicing vehicles for customer rentals and communicating with shuttle drivers for customer pick-ups.


Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid class 5 drivers license with no moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 5 years

  • Must be fluent in English (Fluent written and spoken Mandarin and Cantonese would be an asset)

Car Wash Attendant

Job Description

The Service Agent is responsible for the care and maintenance of the cars on the lot. This includes vacuuming and prepping the cars, shuttling cars to and from car washes and locations for servicing, car transports to and from offices, checking fluid levels, and changing tires.

The Service Agent is responsible for the care and maintenance of the cars on the lot. This includes vacuuming and prepping the cars, shuttling cars to and from car washes and locations for servicing, car transports to and from offices, checking fluid levels, and changing tires.

Clean vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by operating washing equipment.

Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats, and exterior body, by hand.

Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior(some stain removal may be required).

Determine need for and add windshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze.

Perform basic maintenance check: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle.

Verify appropriate stickers are attached to vehicle(registration, plates, etc.).

May be responsible for maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies.

May be responsible for cleaning and maintaining of office and parking lot.

May be assist with local automobile deliveries

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
